Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) typically considers various factors for admission to their B.Tech programs, including entrance exam scores, academic performance, and possibly other criteria such as interviews or counseling sessions. However, specific cutoff marks required for B.Tech admissions at ADBU can vary from year to year depending on factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the entrance exam, and the availability of seats in each branch of engineering. For Regular B.Tech Program:Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with at least 45% aggregate marks.

Upon close inspection, I found that both of these colleges have excellent infrastructure, campus, facilities and both these college have a 90% (or higher) of placements in reputable companies. If you need a more specific comparison, take into consideration the distance you have to travel, the fee structure, and maybe the presence of language barriers etc. to choose the better option. The placement percentage and average salary range is close for both but the fees range is usually higher for SRCEM due to it being private institute.

Deciding between Assam University, Silchar (AUS) and International School of Management Excellence (ISME) for B.Tech hinges on personal priorities. AUS, a central university, offers diverse programs at a lower cost, emphasizing research. However, it ranks lower nationally and might have comparatively lower placements. ISME, known for industry-focused education, features experienced faculty and excellent placements but comes with higher fees. AUS suits those prioritizing affordability and research, while ISME is suitable for those valuing industry exposure and mentorship, even with a higher financial commitment.
