Yes, you can take admission with 70% in 12th class but also you have give NCHCT JEE exam and get above 75 percentile for increase your chances of admission. But it is necessary you have to give an entrance exam along with 12th exam. In Institute Of Hotel Management Guwahati admission is done by NCHMCT JEE exam. Age limit for admission is 22 year old for Gerneral Category students and for SC/ST students is 25 year old. Total tuition fees for B.Sc. is 3 lakh. If you applied for scholarship then actual fees will be different. You can check admission details and others information in detail on shiksha's official website.

(Hons.) courses Shiksha has examined the distinction and grade derived from student evaluations. Seven real, confirmed students have given the NALSAR B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) course a rating of 4.3 out of 5, whereas six students at NLU Assam have given the same course a rating of 4.4 out of 5. Compared to NLU Assam, Nalsar University of Law offers better placement possibilities and a higher median compensation package. At NLU Assam, the infrastructure is rated the highest.

40 seats are available for LLM admission at NLU Assam. The CLAT score determines admission. To be considered for admission to the LLM programme at NLU Assam, candidates must register via the CLAT portal. Seven specialisations in LLM courses are available at NLU Assam. The CLAT entrance exam is approved as a valid admission exam by NLU Assam. CLAT 2023 was finished after Round 5 for admission to the BA LLB and LLM degrees. According to the NLUJAA cutoff 2023, the most recent round closing rank for BA LLB (Hons) was 2569, and for LLM, it was 2621. The NLUJAA cutoff for BA LLB in 2023 closed at 2271, slightly higher than the cutoff in 2022, which closed at 1765, based on the CLAT cutoff for the preceding three years. After Round 1, NLUJAA closing ranks were increasing for both BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes, based on a comparison of the rounds.

As of right now, the official college website has not made any information about LLM placement available. The NIRF report has information on the placements of BA LLB. In the official site of the college, the placement details for the graduating course of 2023 are still pending. Nonetheless, the institute has posted the NIRF report for 2023 on its official website. According to the NIRF report 2023, one BA LLB (Hons) student was placed in NLU Assam placements in 2021. Furthermore, the median package offered to BA LLB students during NLU Assam postings in 2021 was INR 7.63 L annually.
