No, Assam University does not require scores from any specific entrance examination for admission to its BA courses. Admissions are generally based on merit, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination Class 12 or equivalent. However, the university is affiliated with many of the colleges that offer BA courses. So, at the time of filling out the application form and choosing the college preferences, candidates can recheck with the college's admission authority if they accept any entrance examination scores for admission to BA or not.

The admission is based on merit. Hence, to increase the chance of getting admission into BA courses, candidates must secure a good score in their Class 12.

Yes, Assam University does offer undergraduate courses in the arts through its affiliated colleges and constituent departments. The university might not offer BA courses on its campus except integrated BA courses. However, the affiliated college of Assam University offers several specialisations in BA courses such as English, Political Science, History, etc. Additionally, the Bachelor in Arts course are available for the duration of three to four years and is offered in both full-time and part-time mode.

The minimum score needed in Class 12 to be admitted to Assam University BPharm programmes is 50% in their higher senior secondary, especially in the relevant Science subjects. However, the number of applicants and the number of seats available in the course will determine the merit list/ cut-off list that the colleges release. So, to improve the chances of getting selected for the course, candidates must score a valid score in Class 12 and the entrance examination.

Assam University accepts the scores of CUET-UG scores for admission to the BPharm course. Moreover, before appearing in the entrance exam candidates must complete their Class 12 from the Science stream including both PCB/ PCM. Additionally, they must have at least an aggregate of 50%. For admission candidates can apply online from the official website of the university's admission portal.

Both Assam University and Assam Downtown University are good choices for BSc programmes. Assam University is more affordable than Assam Downtown University, but when comparing the average packages offered to BPharm graduates, the average package offered by Assam University is INR 3.7 LPA, and the average package offered by Assam Downtown University's BPharm programme is INR 5 LPA.In conclusion, it is challenging to determine which is best because, for some students, the placement packages may be the most important factor, while for others, affordability may be the most important consideration.

Hence, the tuition fee for the BPharm at Assam University is INR 14,400, and the BPharm course tuition fee at Royal Global University is INR 3.5 lakh.
