Candidates must have passed 10+2 level examination with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology both in theory and practical and 50% aggregate marks in the above subjects are eligible for admission.
ADMISSION GUIDELINES
Selection of candidates for admission will be made on the basis of percentage of marks secured in qualifying examination and performance in the admission test and personal interview.

There is no such specific syllabus for the same. However, the entrance exam will consist of Written Test of 50 Marks of one-hour duration and a personal interview for 50 marks. Please refer the link below for detailed information on the various courses and admission criteria of Assam University:

Well, the JEE Mains exam and also the results are done. I wish the results are as per desired. Now, as the marks and ranks are in your hand, the question is how to get admission into Tezpur University.
There are two ways to get into Tezpur University engineering department.
The popular JoSAA counseling
If you are a resident of North East India, you have the privilege of applying separately for admission in this institute. The reason being, that 60% of the total engineering seats are reserved for NE students, the rest for all India.
In both the cases, JEE marks or ranks is only considered. Statewide exams will not help any way.
