First thing, you need to have maths as a compulsory subject in class 12th. Secondly, there is no such post of research astronaut (and there is no direct posting for astronaut). To be the research scientist, the ideal path is B.Sc. Then, M.Sc and Ph.D and a lot of industrial experience in research sector (with lots of publication, patents etc.). For Bachelor's level, I don't think that there is any (good) college in India who offers cosmology or astronomy or astrophysics at Bachelor's level. It's very nice to know that you want to become scientist. Let me assure you that you can indeed become a geographical scientist. What needs to be done is firstly complete your graduation and post graduation studies in this subject. Then you can obtain a job in either a college or a government research lab. Then register yourself in a topic for Ph.D. At this stage you can be called a scientist or a researcher.

One more important thing to note here is this to be scientist is not like doing an ordinary job. It requires lot of work done and time spent in laboratories rather than office. So think only to join ISRO if you are up to do hard work and research.
Hope it helps.
