The maximum age for the general category candidates should not exceed 35 years as of October 14, 2023. But, for the OBC category candidates are 38 Years and for the SC, ST candidates are 40 years.
2- Age criteria for Junior Research Fellow:

1- For Electronics: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics Engineering in first division with an aggregate min of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 on a scale of 10.
2- For Mechanical: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics Engineering in First Class with an aggregate min of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 on a scale of 10.
