ATMA Answer Key

The provisional answer key is the one released just after the exam and the final answer key is the one released after all the objections raised by candidates have been examined and accepted/rejected. The final ATMA answer key is released along with the result. It is the final ATMA answer key on the basis of which the ATMA result will be prepared. Which means, score of a student is based on the calculation of number of correct, incorrect and unanswered questions after all the objections have been examined. The provisional ATMA answer key is released with candidate's response sheet and there is an option to raise objections and challenge it. However, the final answer key is released only as question ID and correct answer option and there is no provision of raising objections after the final answer key has been released.

The official ATMA answer key of every candidate released by the examination authority contains each question and its status which means, the answer marked by the candidate and right answer. For every correct answer in ATMA one mark is awarded. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. So, if a candidate has marked 10 questions incorrectly, then -2.5 marks will be awarded.
