The selection criteria for the PGDM course are:Step 1: Candidates must pass the CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, and GMAT with a passing score.Step 2: Next, applicants must submit an application to New Delhi Institute of Management.Step 3: Candidates are summoned for a GD and PI after being shortlisted based on their entrance test results.Step 4: Candidates are shortlisted for NDIM admission based on their overall performance in the entrance exam, in group discussions, and in personal interviews, as well as their grades in classes 10, 12, and graduation.Step 5: Selected candidates must pay the necessary course fees and have their documentation confirmed.

ATMA scores are accepted by over 700 management colleges in India. Candidates who appear for the ATMA exam can get admission to various top MBA, MCA PGDM and MS colleges in India. Each participating institute releases an ATMA cut-off after the exam is conducted. Those candidates who meet the ATMA cutoff will be called for further selection process which includes GD What and PI. The selection process is a four-step process which is explained below:
1. ATMA exam: Applicants need to appear for the ATMA exam on the scheduled date. The exam is conducted in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at various exam centres across the country.
2. Group Discussion: Group Discussion or GD is conducted for the students who clear the ATMA exam and meet the ATMA cutoff. They will be called by various participating institutes after the ATMA results are announced. They will have to talk on a particular topic and they will be judged on various grounds.
3. Written Ability Test (What): Candidates will be required to take a What (Written Ability Test) and write a short essay on any topic allotted by the panel of judges.
4. Personal Interview PI Students will then have to appear for an interview before the expert panel after they clear all the previous selection rounds. They will be assessed on general awareness, extracurricular activities, academics, etc.

The provisional answer key is the one released just after the exam and the final answer key is the one released after all the objections raised by candidates have been examined and accepted/rejected. The final ATMA answer key is released along with the result. It is the final ATMA answer key on the basis of which the ATMA result will be prepared. Which means, score of a student is based on the calculation of number of correct, incorrect and unanswered questions after all the objections have been examined. The provisional ATMA answer key is released with candidate's response sheet and there is an option to raise objections and challenge it. However, the final answer key is released only as question ID and correct answer option and there is no provision of raising objections after the final answer key has been released.

The official ATMA answer key of every candidate released by the examination authority contains each question and its status which means, the answer marked by the candidate and right answer.
