Hi
ENT doctors are doctors of medicine, whereas audiologists are not. Some progress through further study to specialize in ears specifically and are responsible for ear surgery. An audiologist may have a clinical doctorate degree, Au. D. , or a Ph.D. and can use the title of Doctor. They are not, however, physicians in that they do not have a medical degree nor can they practice medicine.

The AIISH BASLP is a theory exam that includes objective type MCQ (multiple choice questions) which are similar to the Central Board of Secondary Education 11th and 12th-grade syllabus for undergraduate exams and graduate-level questions for graduate candidates.
