Candidates must fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria:
Passed 10+2 in the Science stream from a recognised educational Board. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level. Physics, Chemistry, Math/ Biology as the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level.

BASLP graduates may work closely with patients suffering from hearing, balance and speech disorders. Common places to find work are- Government and Private Hospitals, NGOs and Schools for Children with hearing and speech disorder.
