Maintain first class marks throughout, more than 65%. The higher your percentage the easier and better for you to seek admission in ANU or any highly ranked university in the world.

These are some of the most competitive universities in Australia. The number of backlogs and the overall CGPA is not too impressive but he can stand a chance with very good SOP, projects, internships and of course LORs.

Yes, chances are pretty good. You must also take the IELTS, an overall score of 6 with no section less than 5.5 is required. Visit the university websites for more details about admission deadlines and entry requirements. Make sure to apply on time.

The Master of Computing (Advanced) in ANU is a transfer program from the Master of Computing, with a weighted average mark of at least 70% . Therefore you must enroll into the Master of Computing firstly. Master of Computing (Advanced) requires a thesis work. You need to check the website carefully and always contact the admission officers for exact requirements and details which are university specific.
Best Wishes.

Both are Australia's top universities. You must check the curriculum of both and compare. You will know what is easier for you only if you check the curriculum. Also level of understand is different for different individuals. If ANU course may be easy for me it may not be for as per your academic intellect. Get in touch with the admission advisors of both the universities for guidance.
Hope it helped.
