All the branches of engineering are equally good and have tremendous job opportunities. It entirely depends on how well you understand and handle the stream and increase your scope of growth. Different branches of engineering are popular at different places and the popularity depends upon the day to day requirement of that place. While deciding on a branch one should review the below mentioned points:-
- You should focus on what all you will study in each branch and choose a branch according to your area of interest and personal attributes.
- Opt for a stream where you are comfortable and sure to be successful.
- Join a reputed college as this will increase your job prospects.
- Discuss with your seniors and others about the pros and cons of each branch and make a decision which will help you in building up a rewarding career.
Also, Germany is very much known for its technological advancements, especially Automobile and mechanical. Few good universities that you can look for are

Most of the universities have English as the medium of teaching.
For admission you might have to give GRE and IELTS / TOEFL.
Also education in Germany is government funded, there is a possibility that you might have to pay a minimal fee ranging from euro 140-500. For more information on German Universities, I would request you to visit the nearest DAAD office. DAAD is officially authorized to provide information about education in Germany. They have offices in major cities in India. If possible go for a German language course as it will help you find a part time job. A student in Germany can work 90 full days or 180 half days.
