You can join automobile designing course after Diploma like in ADYPU. They offer Masters even if you have done Diploma, no need for Bachelor's degree first.

I am also on the same track first you should study Bachelors of designing with product designing and then you can go for Masters in automobile design.

Automobile engineers can find employment manufacturing field and can also work with suppliers, automative servicing firms etc. Automobile designer need to study structural design and can find employment with any of the major car manufacturing firm I. e. BMW, Audi, Mercedes.
