Hello Ayush Kumar, It's indeed great to hear from you that you are interested in doing your engineering in civil or automobile branches. But I am afraid, admissions to engineering courses are no longer based on marks obtained in 12th except perhaps in the state of Tamil Nadu. You will have to appear for the entrance exam for your state or JEE Mains for CFTI's or JEE Advanced for IIT. Besides these almost all deemed to be universities also conduct their own exam. Unfortunately for engineering studies, there is nothing as compared with NEET for medical studies. Best wishes to you.

Graphic Era will be the right choice. If you are concerned about the placements then if any of the companies are coming to DIT then they will surely come to Graphic Era also. Also, there are many milestones that the students of automobile engineering are achieving here.

I do not think, there are degrees on electric vehicles alone. For designing a vehicle you need to have knowledge on various aspect-not only the power pack, but also various other aspects like chassis etc. There is sure to be an elective on alternate vehicle propulsion technologies if you choose automobile engineering as your field of study. However there are courses like B.Tech in Automobile Engineering. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/automobile-engineering-chp.
