Your query is a little unclear. Let me attempt to answer in spite of this. If you have already taken admission in a college in Gujarat and now wishes to transfer to this college in Maharashtra, it is impossible. However, if you are domicile of Gujrat, and now want to study in the college in Maharashtra, then you can apply against All India Quota. For this, you need to appear for any national level entrance exam and on the basis, if scores you can get admission.

They are responsible for the modification and maintenance of the equipment and engines that make up a vehicle. Those who are involved in the overall research, design and development of automobiles is referred to as Automobile Engineer where as those who concentrate solely in the design aspects of automobile is referred to as Automobile Designer. You need to have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial design, transportation design, or mechanical engineering with an automotive design concentration.

Any course to do with quality and that too for six sigma will definitely be a great help to advance your career. Customer relationship executive cannot go too high up in any organization, hence you need to retool yourself or reeducate yourself in some different field to go up in your career. If you are interested in vehicles and some new engines, then you can go with automobile, but you are interested in deep mechanical concept then you go with mechanical. But, if you want to go automobile after mechanical engineering you have a chance to go with automobile. You are doing engineering change you branch in engineering it's quiet easy way.

No, IIT doesn't have any specific automobile engineering branch. It is a small part of mechanical engineering. If you want to work as an automobile engineer then you can take mechanical engineering in IITs and from there you can get into automobile companies.
