Cessna 172 - Rs.9000-11000 per Hour
P-16 - Rs.15000-18000 per Hour etc. And any candidate who gets enrolled for this professional training requires to complete 200 hours of flying, in order to get his/her CPL issued.

Higher education is never a barrier to go for any training. For CPL, the basic qualification is 10+2 with PCM combination and I am sure you can be a better pilot being an engineer. All the best.

If you are targetting any other position than definitely you can go for it. But if you are looking for cabin crew position, you must justify the criteria. In general Candidate Profile for Freshers for cabin crew is as under :
Age: Between 18 and 27 years
Minimum Height:Men - 170 cms and Women - 157 cms
Weight:In proportion to height
Educational Qualification:HSC (10 + 2). Candidates who are appearing for their HSC examinations can also apply
Physical features: Pleasing personality, clear complexion (scars, pimples, and blemishes not acceptable) and good eyesight
Marital Status: Unmarried
Language skills: Fluency in English and Hindi. Pr

Probably look to score good enough to get shortlisted for the flying branch. Then the government shall train you for free to be a pilot and will also take care of all other expenses that are incurred. All the best.

Eligibility by again enrolling for class 12th with any recognized board and appearing for only PCM.
Once you pass PCM at class 12th level with 50% marks
