Applicants may apply for the AFA exam if they have passed their graduation exams. Additionally, they have the option to apply through the twice-yearly CDS test. Through the AFCAT exam, individuals, both male and female, can apply for technical and ground tasks as well. Through the NDA, those who have finished their Class 12 can become members of AFA. After spending the first three years in NDA Khadakwasla, Pune, flying training will be transferred to AFA. It should be mentioned that if a candidate has chosen IAF, they can only join the flying branch of AFA through the NDA.Successful candidates are invited to the SSB interview after the written exam, which is a demanding process that assesses a candidate's fitness for a job 

The cutoff marks required for B.Sc programs vary depending on the university, the program, and the admission year. Generally, the qualifying exam's minimum cutoff score for B.Sc programs is around 50% (10+2 for B.Sc programs) . However, the cutoff scores may be higher for some programs and universities, particularly for those that are more prestigious or in demand. For example, the University of Delhi's B.Sc in Physics cutoff marks for the 2023-24 academic year are 97% for the general category, 93% for the OBC category, 90% for the SC category, and 85% for the ST category. Similarly, the cutoff marks for B.Sc at BMS College for Women vary depending on the specific specialization, with the general cutoff ranging from 70% to 80%. For B.Sc Nursing, NEET cutoff marks for 2023 are 720-137 for the general category and 136-107 for SC/ST/OBC.It is advisable to consult the official website or admission prospectus of the university and B.Sc programme you are interested in for specific cutoff marks, as the cutoff scores are revealed several months prior to the commencement of the school year. 

The AFCAT exam is administered by the Indian Air Force (IAF) in two shifts: morning and afternoon. The morning shift for AFCAT runs from 9.45 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. AFCAT shift time for the afternoon shift is 2.45 pm to 4.45 pm. Candidates must complete 100 questions from the General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test during the two-hour AFCAT exam. The exam does not have sectional timings. Together with the notification, IAF had released the AFCAT timings. In addition to the AFCAT exam schedule, IAF released the reporting schedule. The candidate's admit card contains information about the timing of the AFCAT shift and the reporting time.
