The eligibility criteria for MBA at Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science & Higher Education for Women require candidates to have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a university approved by UGC. Additionally, candidates are selected based on their scores in qualifying exams like XAT, CAT, MAT, TANCET, ATMAT, or GMAT, along with their performance in personal interviews. However, the cutoff marks every year don't remain the same. The cutoff marks in different entrances required for admission an MBA at AIHSHEW has not been released yet.

No Avinashilingam Institute is not more expensive than Kovai Research Institute of Medical Science based on the available data. Avinashilingam Institute fees for B.Tech is around Rs 1 lakh per annum and for Kovai Research Institute of Medical Science the fees annually is around Rs 1.25 lakh per annum.
