Good day, Samruddhi You did in fact provide a pretty intriguing question. Sincerity dictates that both of these areas have similar relevance today. However, avionics equipment repair often takes place in a lab rather than on an aircraft, though this isn't always the case. However, the aircraft must be serviced by a craft mechanic. From another angle, every aircraft will need an aviation mechanic for maintenance, but the number of avionics systems that need to be maintained will differ depending on the size of the aircraft. However, total job chances are nearly comparable for both of these trades. I wish you well.

Their duties involve developing and programming electrical systems for satellites, aeroplanes, and spacecraft. All communication, navigation, and guiding systems are supported by avionics engineers' computer systems, and they also test each system to make sure it is operating properly. Engineering, computer, and technical expertise are prerequisites for avionics engineers. They must also have a strong aptitude for problem-solving and concept implementation. Avionics engineers typically collaborate with others in a team. They must thus possess strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

I have the same ambition as yours. Just go for aeronautical engineering (but remember that the vacancies are very few that is in single digits only) from any IIT or if you work hard then it might be possible you can get IISER or IISC-Bangalore. These are the students who get placements in ISRO, DRDO, etc. They do not have to work hard their course curriculum are relatively same as needed by the organisation. Now, if you are unable to get it, don't worry there is always another door open for you. You can go for B.Tech from any branch except civil and CSE. Then after completing your graduation you just need to appear for the exams conduc

Hello Aneesh,
Once upon a time aeronautical engineering was the only branch available for study. But nowadays space exploration is increasing by leaps and bounds. Hence seeing the potential, colleges have started offering specialised branch of aerospace engineering catering to this need. Hence its your choice as to what you want to study. Best wishes to you.
