Yes, NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is mandatory for admission to undergraduate Ayurveda (BAMS) and Homeopathy (BHMS) courses in India. This applies to both government and private colleges.The admissions process for BAMS/BHMS courses is conducted by the Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) [AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee) | India]. They conduct counselling for 15% All India Quota seats and 100% seats in deemed universities. The remaining 85% state quota seats are filled by the respective state counselling authorities.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the AIAPGET syllabus. Each discipline's syllabus is available on the official AIAPGET website, with variations. Every subject that was covered in the undergraduate course for that particular discipline is covered in the syllabus.
