The reputation of AIET's faculty is mixed. As many students report, the staff is very helpful and accommodating. However, some problems exist in the experience and work of certain members, at least in certain departments as in civil engineering. So, the institute works further on teaching quality and standards to reach the industrial environment. Faculty members are actively working to improve the educational experience, but there is a recognised need for further development to fully meet student expectations. Overall, while there are strengths, improvements in faculty quality remain a focus area.

Azad Institute of Engineering and Technology is a good option for B.E./B.Tech because it has a very strong academic base and excellent placement prospects. It was established in the year 1998 and is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. The curriculum of AIET is designed with industry requirements in mind and has a placement record of 70-80%. Many companies like TCS and Wipro recruit students from this institute. In addition, AIET offers excellent infrastructures with smart labs and a trainee cell to ensure overall development of students while they are in learning.
