The general eligibility criteria required by the university to grant admission to a BSc course at Azim Premji University is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the Science board with at least 50%, candidates' maximum age should be 21 years as of July 31, 2024. For the final selection process, the university accepts the scores of several entrance examinations, such as JEE Main, Azim Premji NET, CUET, SAT, and other accepted entrance tests.

Admission to B.Sc courses in Azim Premji University is merit- based. On the basis of marks secured in your class 12th, you will be given admission. The minimum aggregate percentage required for admission to B.Sc is 50%. The accepted boards are CBSE, ISC and MPBSE.

Work experience is encouraged, and undergraduate students may apply. Exceptions may be allowed for persons who possess significant economic expertise. To be eligible for a BSc at Azim Premji University, you must: 1. Be under 19 years old2. Have passed the 12th standard examination or equivalent with at least 50% marks3. Have completed the class 12 exams in any Indian board4. Have completed the class 12 exams in any foreign board exam with grades equivalent to at least 50% marks

AMU doesn't accept any national level entrance exam, the University conducts an in- house entrance exam for the selection process, as it is one of the criteria for the admission process. For registration the applicant needs to apply for the entrance exam through official website, to be considered for admission process.
