Admission for MA Economics usually done through entrance exams as well as on merit basis. Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi University, Manipal University, Jawaharlal Nehru Universityand various other universities provide admissions through entrance test. Although, certain colleges like Delhi University reserves certain seats for merit basis admissions along with entrance based admissions. Colleges like Christ University, University of Hyderabad takes in application only through online/ direct mode as for Merit-based admissions. Thank you.

Mandatory courses: BA, BA (Hons) and B.Sc.
Candidate must have completed BA (Hons)/BA/B.Sc (Hons)/B.Sc under at least 10+2+3 pattern with 50%.
Admission Process:
Admission is done through counselling based on the rank obtained in Banaras Hindu University Postgraduate Entrance Test (BHU-PET) conducted by the university.
