No, to get admission to a Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme at Banaras Hindu University you need to appear in an entrance exam: Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The national-level exam is conducted  by the National Testing Agency (NTA). BHU doesn't conduct a separate entrance exam for BA programs anymore.

It's impossible to say for certain whether you'll get a rank in the PUBDET exam without knowing your score and category. Factors Affecting Rank:Your score in the PUBDET exam is the primary factor determining your rank. The total number of candidates who appeared for the PUBDET exam in your category also plays a role. A higher number of applicants typically leads to a more competitive environment and a higher cut-off rank for admission. The reservation system in India allocates seats based on categories like General (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST).
