Candidates who wish to opt for the BA LLB (Hons) offered at KIIT School of Law are required to meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the institute. The applicants need to have qualified with an aggregate of at least 45% marks in Class 12 from a recognised board. Also, a candidate needs to qualify for the KIIT Entrance Examination, which is more commonly referred to as KIITEE, and be suitably good for law studies. Selection was very competitive; therefore, performance in the KIITEE would be crucially essential to ensure a place in the programme.

Admission is based on the candidate's academic performance. Class 12 or equivalent qualification should be passed from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate. Applicants applying for this law programme must have valid CLAT exam scores, and their applications are shortlisted for the next round. Application forms are provided on the official website for applying. The Institute has the right to accept or reject the applicants if they find any inaccuracy or false information. The selection is solely based on a combination of an entrance exam and a merit list.
