Yes, NIOS students are eligible to appear for the NEET exam, provided they fulfill the NEET eligibility criteria. They must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as core subjects from a recognised board, including NIOS. The eligibility criteria for NEET require candidates to have a minimum of 50% marks in PCB for the general category, and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Regarding admission to BDS or BAMS in Punjab, NIOS students can also apply, as long as they meet the NEET eligibility requirements.
