Both the courses are good. If you want to be Doctor, I suggest you to go for BAMS. As you have not specified any particular field of Engineering, It is difficult to answer.

it is not possible to quantify your chances of selection but I can assure you that you can get at least BAMS seat at this rank. Besides, remember that you have more chances of you apply for private colleges as well.

Please note that to take admissions in BA MS course anywhere in India it will be compulsory for you to appear in NEET from this year onwards. 2017 was the last year in which institutes were able to admit students to AYUSH courses through their own exams and counselling procedure without NEET. From this year onwards all admission to BA MS courses will be through NEET only.
