Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers a comprehensive Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) program designed to cater to diverse interests and career aspirations. The program provides a wide range of subjects, including English, Hindi, Punjabi, History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Philosophy, Geography and Mathematics. The B.A. (Hons.) program focuses on developing advanced research skills, critical thinking and analytical abilities, with students pursuing a single main subject along with electives and core courses.Furthermore, LPU offers an integrated four-year B.A.-B.Ed. dual-degree course, combining the B.A. program with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). This program is designed for students aspiring to become teachers and offers subjects such as English, Hindi, Social Science (History, Geography, Economics and Political Science), Mathematics and Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Biotechnology). Students also study education-related papers, including Child Development, Educational Psychology and Teaching Methodology.Key features of LPU's B.A. programs include a flexible curriculum with multiple subject combinations, emphasis on research and analytical skills, exposure to extracurricular activities and industry interactions, and highly qualified faculty with research expertise. To apply, students must meet the eligibility criteria, which includes 50% -60% (depending on program) aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination, with English as a compulsory subject. For B.A.-B.Ed, students must also meet the NCTE norms.Upon completion of the program, graduates can pursue various career avenues, including teaching and education, journalism and media, social work and NGOs, civil services and government jobs, corporate sector and management and research and academia.

Whether you can change your course from B.A. Programming to B.A. Psychology Honours will depend on the rules and regulations of your institution. You will need to check with your college or university's admission office to find out if it is possible to make the change at this point in time. If you are still in the admission process and have not yet started your course, you may be able to switch to B.A. Psychology Honours if the college offers that course and if there are available seats.
