Candidate must have 55% marks for general (49.5% marks for OBC) / corresponding grade in

After passing your B.A. (Gujarati), you can pursue B.Ed and become a schoolteacher, or pursue M.A. (Gujarati) and pass SLET/ NET to become a college lecturer. Now, you can do translation, technical writer, linguistic writer, government jobs, etc.

This would depend on your interest areas and career aspirations. In case you intend to pursue a career in Teaching / research / academics area then MA is better. However, if you want to move into general management the MBA is better.
