Yes, BA is available at Jaipur National University in three different specialisations that last for three years. Further, divided into six semesters. BA is an undergraduate programme offered at JNU Rajasthan, available in both full-time and distance-learning modes. The minimum eligibility criteria that candidates are required to fulfil before getting admission in this course is they must complete Class 12 with a minimum of 45% in their Class 12 and the college evaluates the merit list, based on performance in Class 12. There are two to three core courses included in the IGNOU BA (Hons) in English programme. Apart from this, the course curriculum include ability enhancement compulsory courses, skill enhancement, and generic electives. There is some credit attached to each of the subject. The Bhawanipur Education Society College shortlists candidates for BA (Hons) based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for admission. The college releases a merit list to announce the names of the selected aspirants.

A placements drive was conducted by IGNOU in February in collaboration with ARCIS - E SERVICES PVT LTD and GLOBIVA. The open university students could participate in the drive. In addition, the permanent positions of Regional Callers, Backend Executives and Retention Executives were available in the placements with salary packages ranging between INR 1.7 LPA and INR 3 LPA. Moreover, there is no concise placements report for BA-placed students. As per the information gathered from unofficial sources, the highest package offered in 2023 (overall) to IGNOU students stood at INR 15 LPA.

Candidates need to pass Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject to apply for The Bhawanipur Education Society College BA (Hons) programme. Aspirants with 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination can also apply. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

Both IGNOU and VMOU are popular among the students. However, Indira Gandhi National Open University is nationally preferred by the students. It is  run by the Central Government of India. It has also been accredited by the NAAC with Grade 'A+'. The eligiblity criteria for BA admission at both the universities is Class 12 pass. Candidates can opt for either of the open university based on its ranking, fee, placements, etc. Both the open universities are popular among the students. The minimum eligibility criteria for BA at IGNOU and YCMOU is Class 12 or equivalent examination pass. In addition, IGNOU BA/BA (H) fee ranges between INR 9,600 and INR 31,800 and the BA fees at YCMOU is INR 11,100.There is not a huge difference in the course fee at both the universities. Candidates can make a choice as per preference. It must be noted that the given fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.
