The merit-based scholarships are provided to the students based on their merit in the qualifying exam. For BA students, the merit in Class 12 is considered as the criteria for the merit-based scholarships. These scholarships are offered only for the first year. The CUET exam is typically held in May or June, and the results are declared a few weeks after the exam.
