IILM University aims to work toward holistic development of its BA students. The university offers various different specialisations namely Cultural Studies, Global Affairs, Environmental Studies, Media and Communication, and Gender Studies for student to choose from. Career prospects may differ from student to student, depending on their chosen specialisation as well as their individual competency. Depending on the respective subjects, BA Graduates can find several job opportunities in government sector, private sector and PSUs. Following graduation, a candidate can work in the government as a Civil Administrator, IAS, Police Officer, or Civil Servant or in the private sector as a Content Writer, Journalist, Human Resource Manager or in a variety of other professions.

IILM BA admissions are done based on marks obtained by applicants in Higher Secondary Examination. The university admission process begins with the Application stage. In this stage, interested students must apply for their preferred course by visiting the official website of the university. Once the application portal is closed, university’s admission committee shortlists students based on their performance in Class 12, extracurricular participation, SOP.The shortlisted applicants are further called for a personal interview at the university. These students must also carry important documents such as education qualification certificates, identity proof, address proof and such for verification purposes. Upon successful verification, students are required to pay the prescribed fees to secure their admission at IILM University.

Once the application process is completed, the admission committee shortlists student based on their overall performance in Class 12. These shortlisted students are further required to visit the university for a personal interview round. During this round, students are judged based on their academic record, participation in extracurricular activities and more. These students are also required to carry certain required documents for verification on the same day.
