Yes, candidates can appear for SSU CET for admission to BA before appearing for Class 12 final examination. Hence, candidates whose results of class 12 are awaited can still appear for the SSU-CET. However, the admissions will be provisional and confirmed upon receipt of the final scores. 

The application deadline for the BA programme at Sri University for the 2025-26 academic year is August 30, 2025. Candidates are required to fill out their application form on time and before the deadline. However, this is the tentative date released by the university. No, candidates are not required to appear in the CUET UG for admission to BA (Hons.) at Sri Univeristy. However, candidates must appear in the SSU CET entrance exam for admission to the BA course at SSU. This entrance exam is an in-house entrance exam of the university. Yes, Sri Univerity offers seat reservations for sports to BA students. The eligibility criteria to get the reservation is those who have represented the state during the last three years at national level sports shall get 10% weightage of marks over and above the aggregate career marks.

A minimum age requirement established by Sri University for applicants to the regular BA (Hons) programme is until July 1, 2025, candidates should not be older than 21 years old. Additionally, in order to be enrolled on this programme, candidates must first meet the primary eligibility requirements, which include being under 21 years old and completing Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. 

After completing the BA application form and qualifying for the SSU CET at Sri University, the admission department released the provisional admission letter to the selected students. Moreover, the provisional admission is valid only till Sep 30, 2025. Beyond this date, the seat would be cancelled and considered vacant and no refund of the amount of the provisional admission will be done.

Currently, Sri University has not released the commencement date of the BA new session. However, according to the information available on the official website of the university- the commencement of final admissions for the BA (Hons) course begins on July 1, 2025 onwards. So, candidates can anticipate that classes will start a few days after the final admission's commencement.
