Parul University BArch asmission is based on a valid GUJCET score, followed by GUJCET counselling process. Talking about the Parul University cutoff trends for BArch, it has been observed that the cutoff rank has been decreing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BArch under general category for Home state quota was 200141. In 2023, it decreased to 10375. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow.

Candidates need to complete Class 12 with PCM or Class 10 with three year Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% aggregate to apply for BArch course offered by SMAID. Aspirants who have passed NIOS with Physics and Mathematics (Foundation certificate courses, conducted at the Institute level) can also apply. Besides, the institute considers NATA score for admission to BArch.

The total tuition fee for SMAID BArch course is INR 4.50 lakh. The fee excludes one-time deposit that candidates need to pay at the time of admission. Apart from the course fee, aspirants need to pay an application fee at the start of the admission process. Candidates can submit their fee offline in the form of DD.

You can. There is no such restriction on studying architecture. Some architects concentrate on design work. Design involves both artistic and scientific skills, i.e. producing something which is also technically feasible.Physics, chemistry and mathematics are no longer mandatory for admission to architecture coursesThe 'Minimum Standards of Architectural Education' released that B.Arch students can exit the programme after three years and can get an 'appropriate degree' .

The final placement report 2023 is yet to be released. Once it is out, the total number of BArch students placed in 2023 placement will be updated here. However, as per the NIRF report 2022, a total of 30 BArch students were placed out of total 39 students during SMAID BArch placements 2021. Earlier, in 2021, a total of 145 students were placed out of total 198 students. The final placement report 2023 is yet to be released. Once it is out, the BArch placement percentage recorded during the 2023 placement drive will be updated here. However, as the NIRF report 2022, the institute recorded nearly 77% placements in the academic year 2020-2021. The MHT CET B.Arch counselling dates for 2023 have not yet been announced. The last date to apply for the MHT CET B.Arch exam is on September 10, 2023. The exam will be held on October 8, 2023. The NATA exam dates for 2023 are as follows:Phase 1: May 21, 2023Phase 2: June 11, 2023Phase 3: July 9, 2023Phase 4: September 24, 2023The NATA results for each phase will be released within 2 weeks of the exam. The MHT CET B.Arch counselling is expected to begin in December 2023 after the release of the MHT CET B.Arch results.
