B.Arch

The faculty at LPU for the B.Arch program consists of experienced professionals who possess both academic qualifications and practical experience in architecture. Many faculty members hold advanced degrees such as M.Arch or Ph.D. in their respective fields. They are involved not only in teaching but also in research and consultancy projects related to architecture.LPU boasts modern infrastructure that supports the learning experience for B.Arch students. The university has well-equipped design studios with ample space for students to work on their projects. These studios are furnished with necessary tools and resources such as drafting tables, computers with architectural software (like AutoCAD, Revit), and model-making materials.

The eligibility criteria for the B.Arch program at Lovely Professional University (LPU) ensure that students have a strong academic foundation and the necessary aptitude for architecture. Candidates can qualify through one of two pathways: for 10+2 students, they must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks with English, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, alongside one subject from a list that includes Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and others. They must also qualify in NATA 2024 or JEE Main Paper II, subject to COA approval. Diploma holders with a three-year diploma in any stream, including Mathematics, are also eligible if they qualify in NATA or JEE Main Paper II. LPU allows a waiver for English if the student studies in an English-medium school. Admission is based on a 50-50 weightage of marks from the qualifying exam and aptitude test. The five-year B.Arch program is COA-approved, offering in-depth architectural education focused on design and software skills.
