B.des is a 4 year undergraduate programme in design . B.des course provides knowledge on technical and practical aspects of design in a variety of fields. Bachelor of Design course has different specialisations like fashion design,  product design,  industrial design, fashion communication, and more. The baisc eligibility criteria for Bdes is  Candidate shoud have 50 to 55 % in class 12th from recognised board and Admission is done on the basis of merit based and seat intake .

International Institute of Fashion Design ( INIFD ), does not have an entrance exam . Students have shortlist on the basis of marks acquired in class 12th. The higher the marks, the better are the chances of getting selected for admission. In case or for some programme Institute can take entrance exam and shortlist . Students who passed the class 12th from recognised board are eligible for the admission.
