Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent or Class 10 along with three-year Diploma with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for the BDes course. Yes, Symbiosis Institute of Design provides admission to BDes course based on Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) score. SEED exam evaluates candidates on parameters like color, geometry, visual observations, general design awareness, creative thinking abilities, and awareness of Indian culture, craft, traditions, etc. Aspirants shortlisted as per SEED score are further called for Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI).
