The total tuition fee for IIT Bombay BDes courses ranges from INR 8 Lacs to INR 11.6 lakh. This range includes fees for the integrated course as well. Moreover, the given fee is calculated as per the data collected from unofficial sources and hence is subject to changes. Apart from the programme fee, aspirants need to pay a counselling registration fee of INR 4,000. An application fee is also paid in the start. IIT Bombay BDes is a four-year course spread across eight semesters. It also offers a five-year integrated BDes + MDes programme. Candidates have an option of doing dual degree at the end of the third year. Both these courses are credit-based. Each specialisation has slightly separate curriculum. However, the overall the highest international and domestic package offered during IIT Bombay placements 2023 stood at INR 3.67 crore per annum and INR 1.68 crore per annum, respectively. Additionally, the average package offered during IIT Bombay placements 2023 stood at INR 21.82 LPA. Yes, IIT Bombay accepts UCEED score for BDes admission. The category-wise rank obtained in UCEED indicates the candidate’s position in the respective category at the time of the result declaration. A merit list is released with the names of shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted candidates have to register for counselling with a non-refundable application fee of INR 4,000. They have to provide their institute order preference. The institute conducts three rounds of seat allocation. The seats are allocated based on the applicant's All India Rank in UCEED 2024.
