A minimum of Class 12 is required to apply for BDes course at IIT Bombay. Below is the detailed eligibility:Candidates should have been born on or after Oct 1, 1999., if belonging to Open/ EWS/ OBC-NCL Category and on or after October 1, 1994, if belonging to SC, ST or PwD Category.Aspirants should have obtained a rank in UCEED. The tuition fee for Jindal School of Art and Architecture BDes course is INR 3 lakh per year (INR 12 lakh for total course duration). The major admission in reputed B.Des colleges is often based on entrance exam scores such as UCEED. The eligibility criteria for the B.Des course at ARCH College of Design and Business include clearing the class 12 exam (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS or equivalent) and participating in the AIEED Exam Screening So the UCEED marks between 200-250 are good enough for getting top design colleges.

The fee for LPU BDes is INR 9.60 Lacs for four-years. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee. Candidates after completion of the selection round, have to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. The semester fee for BDes is INR 1.20 lakh.
