Candidates who have passed pre-university/ higher secondary/ Class 12 with Arts, Commerce or Science stream with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category and SC/ ST, Category -1 and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) category students from Karnataka) can apply for BDes course.

The university conducts Presidency’s Design Entrance Test (PDET) for providing admission to BDes course. Apart from the entrance exam, the university also considers Statement of Purpose (SOP).
