NIFT Delhi and NIFT Patna offer full-time BDes courses in various specialisations. The fee structures for NIFT Delhi and NIFT Patna are the same. Talking about the placements, the salary package offered to BDes students at NIFT Patna ranges between INR 3 LPA and INR 22 LPA (Source: Student Reviews). Both curriculums provide a strong foundation in animation fundamental knowledge and what differs them apart is their fee structure and course duration. BDes animation is a 4 year UG degree programme for which the eligibility criteria is that you need to clear 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. However, Diploma courses can be opted even after 10th and are more budget friendly as compared to UG animation programs.

The NIFT Patna BDes selection process is entrance-based. NIFT conducts a common entrance exam to shortlist candidates for various NIFTs. The exam comprises a General Ability Test (GAT) and a Creative Ability Test (CAT). Based on the performance in the entrance exam, the candidates are shortlisted for the second stage, i.e. a Situation Test. The seat allocation is based on the merit list released by the institute.
