National Institute of Fashion Technology, kolkata offers Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme which is of 4 years. Admission to this course is based on required marks scored by student in NIFT entrance exam. The entrance exam includes Creative assesment test (CAT) and General Aptitude Test (GAT) the candidates who clears both of these are required to aplear for SAT which is the final selection. Student should not be older than 24 years old ( 29 years for SC/ST/ PWD category students) as on august 1 of the year of admission.

The National institute of fashion technology, Kolkata offers a plethora of courses among which bachelor's in design is very prominent . The course is of four years and the fees of each year is around 1,67,250, which makes a total sum of 6,69,000 for four years. The hostel fee of the college is around 9,000 per semester which the students are bound to pay before shifting, along with a 23000 in advance. If that doesn't fit in your budget you can also go for outside shelters which would cost you Rs 85000 on an average. Any candidate who has cleared Class 12 in any stream with an aggregate of 50% can apply for BDes programme. However, the University conducts its own entrance exam for the final selection of students.

For NIFT Delhi B.Des admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/ State Board New Delhi/ Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. A passing grade in the Senior Secondary School examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects is also eligible to apply for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi.

Candidates applying for NIFT Delhi must visit the official website of NIFT to register for the entrance test. NIFT Delhi B.Des admission 2023 is based on candidates' performance in the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance exam comprising of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). Applicants for BDes programme are first shortlisted based on the score obtained in the online Design entrance test (DET) conducted by the University. Shortlisted applicants have to then clear interview round for final selection to the programme.

No, applicant willing to enrol to the BDes programme must have secured at least 50 per cent aggregate to be eligible for BDes programme at Anant National University.

National Institute of Design Assam cutoff ois based on NID DAT entrance exam scores for admission to the B.Des course. NID Jorhat cutoff 2023 has been concluded. As per the NID Assam cutoff 2023, the last round cutoff percentile was 60.3 for the B.Des course. In 2021, the cutoff percentile for the B.Des course was 86.87 for the General All India category students. Comparing the NID Assam cutoff 2023 with 2021, NID Jorhat witnessed a decling trend for B.Des as the cutoff percentile decreased from 86.87 in 2021 to 60.3 in 2023 for the General All India category students.

NID Bhopal cutoff 2023 was 61.3 for the B.Des course. In 2021, the cutoff percentile stood at 89.8 for the General All India category student for the B.Des programme. Considering the NID Bhopal cutoff for 2023 and 2021, candidates can expect NID DAT cutoff 2024 to be range between the above-mentioned cutoff percentile for the General All India category students. This is the estimated cutoff range, the actual cutoff may vary depending on various factors such as the number of candidates appearing for the exam, difficulty level of the paper, and the number of seats available for admission.
