Symbiosis Institute of Design provides admission to BDes course based on Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) score. SEED exam evaluates candidates on parameters like color, geometry, visual observations, general design awareness, creative thinking abilities, and awareness of Indian culture, craft, traditions, etc. Candidates shortlisted as per SEED score are further called for Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI). Final selection will be based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task and Personal Interaction as well as on the basis of the information provided by the candidate in the application form and the chosen specialisation.
