It is difficult to determine your chances of admission to IP University for B. Des. Based solely on your UCEED 2023 score and rank. Admission to IP University for B. Des. Is based on the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university, along with other factors such as academic performance, portfolio, and interview. Note that merit ranks will be issued to the candidate only if he or she appears in both DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. The candidate has to first appear in DAT Prelims. Shortlisted candidates have to next appear in DAT Mains. The final result or merit list will be prepared by considering the weighted scores of DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.The National Institute of Design will allow B.Des candidates to enter their campus preferences once final results are out. The seat allotment will be done based on campus option opted, seat intake, and merit rank of candidate.In case of M.Des admission, the candidate is not required to enter campus preferences.

A total of 205 B. Des seats are offered by the five UCEED 2023 participating institutes. IIT Bombay conducts a Joint Admission Process for filling these seats. The allotment of seats will be based on UCEED 2023 merit rank and campus selected at the time of UCEED 2023 counseling registration. The online registration for UCEED 2023 counseling was held from March 14 to 31, 2023. Note that in addition to UCEED 2023 participating institutes, result-sharing institutes will also allocate some seats on the basis of UCEED scores. However, the result-sharing institutes will not participate in the Joint Admission process conducted by IIT Bombay.
