Eligibility criterion of Bachelor of Design: A candidate must pass Senior Secondary 10+2 from any stream with a minimum of 50 percent marks. Admission to Bachelor of Design courses shall be based upon merit in the qualifying examination. Bachelor of Design or Bachelor in Fashion Technology are distinct courses but follow the same academic stream. Bachelor of Design includes conceptual design, furniture design, interior design, etc. , whereas Bachelor in Fashion Technology allows students to develop, design, manage, and sell fashion items. No, there is no process to get B.FTech (apparel production) even after filling out B. Des in the NIFT application form. I hope this will help you.
