B.Des

B.Des (Hons.) in Interior Design of Woxsen University is a eight semester program spread over four years; which introduces students to the various nuances, principles and characteristics of design, colour schemes, space planning and drafting. The degree program deals with detailed classroom sessions on selection of materials and finishes for various spaces. Students are also exposed to crafting out new interior designs basis user experience and intelligent systems.
Eligibility : A candidate must have passed 12th Grade (Intermediate) , 10+2 or equivalent from any stream, e.g. Science, Commerce, Arts, etc with minimum 45% of aggregate marks. Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
Admission Process : The Admission process at Woxsen is quite structured and comprehensive since every student is evaluated basis their Composite Score, as mentioned below.
1. SOP (Statement of Purpose): Clarity of purpose in pursuing design program at Woxsen
2. WDT (Woxsen Design Test): General Knowledge, Domain Knowledge, Creative Aptitude, Sketching/ Drawing Skills; Story Telling Skills.
3. Personal Interview (PI): One-on-one & Portfolio Review with expert panelists.

NIFT lateral entry admission (NLEA) provides an opportunity to candidates who have completed their Diploma in relevant / related fields of Design & Technology for direct admission to the third semester of UG programmes of NIFT. Admission process : The candidates who have acquired Diploma/Degree will compete at an All India Entrance Exam to get lateral admission in the 3rd semester of UG programmes of NIFT. The admission to these candidates will be strictly on merit which will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in written
test, studio test/technology aptitude test, and a personal interview. Eligibility : The candidates who have acquired Diploma/Degree will compete at an All India Entrance Exam to get lateral admission in the 3rd semester of UG programmes of NIFT. Scheme of exam : Candidates will have to appear for an entrance examination, personal interview and verification of documents/eligibility at the NIFT Campus opted by them. The entrance examination
is designed to test the knowledge and skill aptitude of the candidate for the programme opted. The online registration of this test will be started in the last week of April and test will be conducted in the last week of May month.
