Admission to the B.Des course at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) East Delhi Campus would be upon clearing IPU CET for design or through other national-level entrance exams for designs such as UCEED. First eligibility criteria need to be completed, and mostly a qualification of 10+2 with the university specified percentage is required. The shortlisted candidates are thereafter invited for counseling on account of their test scores. Accordingly, they get allocated to seats. They later validate their admission through documents along with fees submission.

Thus, only the asiprants who have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate are eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. The most up-to-date cutoff details concerning B.Des admissions at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - East Delhi Campus differ according to each specialization. The admissions are done on the basis of IPU CET and merit lists are published after the examination. Candidate must meet the eligibility criteria to enroll for the course admission set by the college.
