The ITM Institute of Design and Media located at Nerul provides campus B.Des scholarships as per merit as well as needs basis. Scholarships are usually given to students with excellent performance in previous qualifying examination and ITM entrance examination scores. However, ITM from time to time offers scholarship to the students from the low income background, with focus on supporting anyone who has a small capital to fund his/her studies but has a potential to contribute positively towards the society. Specific amounts and conditions may be different .

The process of admission in B.Des course offered by the ITM Institute of Design and Media is spread over several stages. These candidates are then expected to write a design aptitude test set by the institute for the deserving candidates. ITM Institute of Design and Media, Nerul The minimum qualification cutoff and the admission process for B.Des is as follows The admission for the B.Des programme is offered only for the candidate who clears the ITM Design Aptitude Test (ITM-DAT) and Personal interview. There are no standard pass scores as such since the admission turnover depends on a number of factors ouring the entrance examination as well as the interview. The cutoff may not remain the same for a particular course every year mainly because of the total number of students applying for a particular course, level of difficulty of the test
