Yes, an entrance exam is required for the BDes programme offered at AAFT. Candidates have to appear fro the AAFT Global Entrance Exam (AAFT GEE), which is an integral part of selection. This test also has objective-type questions to give an opportunity to gauge the ability of applicants. However, candidates who clear this AAFT GEE get an invitation for a personal interview, which determines their potential to get enrolled in the programme.

The time before joining the college is exciting and full of doubts as well. A lot of online portals suggest students join Sketching, Perspective, Drawing, etc. While students can start working on developing these skills, it is also important to enjoy this time by focusing on developing soft skills, such as communication, public speaking, etc. The students can also start developing a professional portfolio and build it during the NIFT Delhi BDes in Fashion Design programme.
