Students must have completed 10+2 or any equivalent exam in any discipline. Students must have a minimum score of 50 per cent in the general category and 55 per cent for the SC/SC/OBC category at the 10+2 level. Students should also qualify for the entrance exam if any, for a particular College or University selected by them. They must also the Design Aptitude Test in order to be eligible to pursue course in various design institutes.

No, you cannot pursue BDes Communication Design in distance mode as BDes in distance mode is not recognised by UGC. However, you can pursue other bachelor's programme such as BA Communication Design and BSc Communication Design in distance or correspondence mode.

For admission in a BDes programme at NID Bhopal, it is crucial that the aspirant fulfills the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the asiprants who have passed Class 12 in any stream are eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board.
